Today we spent a lot of time on our research projects! We (plus Lily, she’s just not here right now) are researching poison dart frogs in the tropical rainforest on Isla Colón in Bocas del Toro! After a rainy morning, we went out into the rainforest and caught many frogs. For our projects, we are measuring the size, location, and sex of each frog. They also seemed to be more lively after rain, which makes them very hard to catch >:( Then we spent the afternoon starting our research papers. Because we are both doing our projects on frogs, we decided to pool our data, and we found 113 frogs in total! Everyones research papers will go up in the “student work” section of the website within the next few days, so keep an eye out!
