Today we woke up and had a bread-heavy breakfast from the local bakeries. We took a short bus ride to the airport and then our flight to the island Bocas Del Torro. Then, after an impromptu grocery shopping spree, we got on our boat for the ride to ITEC – the facility and research station where we will be staying for the next 9 days. We settled into our rooms and took in the many lizards, bugs, and birds in the jungle around us. Along with the generator (and WiFi) turning on, we had a delicious dinner of chicken, lentils, rice, and salad. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings ~
