Food is not a simple commodity… It is the object of much respect, love, and pride… Watching my host mother (Doña Espinoza) cook is like seeing an artist creating a masterpiece… It is a moving experience, knowing that the gentle hands that are preparing my meals are also the ones who have given life to the fruit and vegetables I enjoy…
